Ryan started in the martial arts at 14 years old and fought in his first Kickboxing competition at age 16. Ryan is easily one of the best martial arts instructors we have ever seen. His attention to detail, amazing coaching skills and soft-spoken but motivating style make him versatile with beginners as well as top level competitors. As one of the most accurate and powerful strikers in the world, he is great asset to the Evolve MMA coaching team.

Ryan turned pro after winning 2 amateur championships. Ryan then competed in Pro Kickboxing with the IKF where he won the overall championship. In 2005 he signed with the Chuck Norris World Combat League and became a starter for the Oklahoma Destroyers for 2 seasons. Recently he returned to the popular sport of Mixed Martial arts where he is now 5-3 as a professional. Ryan is also a veteran of the UFC.
